Homemade Beef Stir-Fry

Easy beef stir-fry is packed with flavor, delicious, and perfect for busy weeknights. This is a one-pan quick dinner that tastes even better than the restaurant version. Best enjoyed served with white rice or pasta!

Ingredients

500g beef sirloin, thinly sliced

½ teaspoon minced garlic

1 tablespoon sesame oil

4 ounces green beans, trimmed

1 tablespoon soy sauce

4 ounces mushroom, sliced

2 large red bell peppers, thinly sliced

1 medium onion, sliced

Toasted sesame seeds, for garnish


Directions


Step 1

In a skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Cook and stir beef for about 3 minutes or until browned.


Step 2

Stir in the mushrooms and cook for extra 2 minutes or until browned. Shift the beef and mushroom to the side of the skillet and add onions, garlic, green beans, and red bell pepper.


Step 3

Cook, stirring the veggies for about 2-3 minutes. Then stir the beef and mushroom into the veggies and season with soy sauce. Cook and stir for extra 2 minutes or until the veggies are soft.


Step 4

Serve with cooked white rice and garnish with toasted sesame seeds.


Recipe Notes

1. You can use your preferred veggies or meat for this recipe.

2. Beef stir fry is best enjoyed immediately after cooking, however, leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator in an airtight food storage container for about 3 days. Before serving, warm up in the microwave.
